What is a repairable?
A repairable is a salvage vehicle that has been "written-off" as uneconomical to repair using new parts and retail shop labor to carry out the repairs. Our salvage customers can use their own labor and used or aftermarket parts which allows them to repair the vehicles at a much lower cost. This cost savings makes the repaired vehicle significantly cheaper than paying retail prices for the same vehicle at a dealer. Usually the savings show up, as compared to book value, to be at bank loan or less. Translation: YOU FIX, YOU SAVE!
